Stella & The Longos + Sua Galera

On Friday, 16 October, Cosmic Romance takes over Bi Nuu for a special showcase centred around the live energy of Stella & The Longos.

Following an extensive European tour that saw the band perform on some of the continent’s best club and festival stages this summer, their return to Berlin is long overdue. Stella & The Longos will bring their much-loved music to the stage, translating the distinctive sound that made them such an important part of the Cosmic Romance story into a powerful live experience. Expect soulful grooves, tropical rhythms, zouk, boogie and the unique energy that has become a defining part of the band’s sound.

Joining them for the evening is Sua Galera, making their Berlin debut. Led by keyboardist and producer Eskil Bauer, the Dortmund-based collective channels a multinational identity, reflected both in its sound and its name: “Sua Galera,” Portuguese for “his crew.”

Their upcoming debut album moves effortlessly between Brasil funk and Mediterranean-inspired grooves, all filtered through the timeless sound aesthetics of 1970s and 1980s studio productions. For their Berlin debut, the nine-piece band will give the audience an exclusive first preview of their forthcoming album ahead of its release on Cosmic Romance.

Completing the lineup is Dimitra Zina, Greek curator, DJ, and radio host who's at the heart of Berlin's growing jazz and soul movement. Her eclectic selection will guide the night from the dancefloor onwards.
