Slaughter & The Dogs exploded onto the British music scene in 1976 at the now legendary Manchester Free Trade Hall gig with The Sex Pistols, an event which was to change musical history forever. They were the first band in Manchester, England to release an independent single "Cranked Up Really High" in 1977. Q Magazine voted this landmark release as one of the top 50 punk singles of all time.
Slaughter & The Dogs debut album "Do It Dog Style" is now hailed as a classic. One of the founding forefathers of the British Punk Rock movement, Slaughter & The Dogs remain to this day a force to be reckoned with. Their live shows are legendary and incendiary and so they continue to tour and headline major festivals around the world. They are true Punk Rock Legends. The band's influences can be felt near and far, from local Manchester boys -The Stone Roses to Johnny Marr & Oasis to name but three; to the American Super group Green Day.
GRUBBY THINGS
GRUBBY THINGS are a Punk Rock'n'Roll Band from Berlin, which was formed in 2000. Fronted by Elvan Decay, a most unique female singer ,powered by sweat, talent and a one off female voice like nothing you have ever heard before !!! They have been on the road extensively and shared stages with many other bands like UK Subs, Radio Birdman, Eddie & The Hot Rods, D.O.A., Nashville Pussy, Avengers, Sonny Vincent, the Stitches, Murder Junkies and Generators to mention only a few. So far they have released 2 Mini CD..s, a Split 7''single , 2 full lenght CD`s, a 7" Ep called "Pictures" and a live album in 2014. The press reviews from music magazins for their releases were completely great. (for ex. Plastic Bomb, Maximum RocknRoll and Rock hard) They finally settled up on a explosive line-up thats rocking stages since 2012 with Stephan on Guitar and Hermann on drums. (Ex- Mad Sin & Church of Confidence) To their 15 th band anniversary a new 7" will be released in autumn 2015.
