Buttering Trio is a trip hop trio from Tel Aviv. The band released their debut full length album ‘Toast’ through Tel Aviv based label Raw Tapes Records. Hailed "dope as fuck” by Snoop Dogg himself, the beat based electronic trio craft densely layered and sophisticated neo-soul akin to Quadron, Georgia Anne Muldrow or Little Dragon. Their music combines ballads and beats in a manner that redefines trip hop: deep, melancholic tunes accompanied by a groove that plays on the aesthetics of Dilla with a Mediterranean twist.
